‘I face sentencing today over trumped up charges by the state against me, but I will not bow down to oppression!’-Dzamara

As I prepare to go to court this morning for ruling and sentencing over one of the trumped up charges the state has against me, I am reminded of the three Hebrew boys in the Bible, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednigo. In the face of oppression, they remained rooted in their conviction. Nothing at all moved their resolve. In our quest for a better Zimbabwe, nothing shall move us from our resolve.
The persecution and nefarious treatment we get from the Mugabe led government shall not in any way break us and we are not going to bow down. Our God shall deliver us, even if he doesn’t, we will not yield to the demands of the dictatorship. We have come too far to yield. A new and better Zimbabwe is possible in our lifetime. We shall come face to face with it. Patson Dzamara
